Women's Mountain Bike Clinics
Improve your riding with confidence
Women’s mountain bike clinics are staged by level so you can follow an efficient progression and pedal with other riders that have similar goals. These programs run once a week over (2.5hour sessions) over 3 consecutive weeks. Throughout these clinics, participants will find the tools to succeed in more challenging terrain with confidence. Private custom mountain bike clinics are also available. You choose the dates, times, goals and who is coming; we do the rest. Fixed rate of $60/hour for groups up to 3 riders, $70/hr for 4-5 riders when booking 8+ hours. If you have any questions about our mountain bike programs please contact info@whistlersingletrack.com.
- Women's mtb Clinics -
Develop the basic mountain bike skills to master green terrain. Riders will also learn useful tactics to adventure on easy blue trails. This clinic is for novice riders, participants must have some experience on green trails and operate the bike safely. Clinic Strucutre:
- Bike check, Body postion, Controls.
- Intro to cornering.
- Intro to steeps.
Green Skills
Ride blue terrain comfortably and consolidate skills to move on to easy black trails. The goal is to increase control by developing a more efficient riding. Blue skills clinic is for intermediate riders; participants must be able to ride blue trails. Clinic Structure:
- Intermediate steeps.
- Intermediate cornering.
- Intro to pressure control.
Blue Skills
Black Skills
The goal is to ride black trails with more control, flow and to unlock more challenging features. This mountain bike clinic is for advanced riders; participants must ride all blue trails in control and should have some experience in black terrain. Clinic Structure:
- Advanced steeps.
- Advanced cornering.
- Air progression.
- Upcoming Dates -
– First day meeting: Whistler skatepark, by the 3 picnic tables next to Lot3. Map here.
– 7.5 total hours of coaching over 3 consecutive weeks.
– Ride plans depend on the group and trail conditions.
– WE DO NOT RIDE IN THE BIKE PARK.
– Max 5 riders per group, we need 2+ participants to run the clinic.
– Please read the Level Descriptions and sign up for a program accordingly.
– Be comfortable exercising outside for long periods of time in different weather conditions.
– Sign the waiver and fill the emergency
– Agree with our terms of service and cancelation policy.
– Mountain bike in good working condition. Full suspension when riding black trails.
– Helmet in good shape and that fits well.
– Knee pads mandatory, gloves highly recommended, elbow pads recommended.
– Enough food and water for the ride.
– A tube that fits your tires.
– Sun screen depending on weather.
– Appropriate attire and shoes for mountain biking and weather conditions.
– A back pack to carry your gear and supplies.
